Selected Accomplishments

Over the span of two decades Jeff has achieved many successes and received many awards but what’s most important is what he does for others. Here are just a few examples:

  1. Reorganized marketing strategy for major hospital network with an emphasis on customer relationship management that helped the hospital increase awareness and volumes. One specific department had a turnaround from closing to becoming number one in patient volumes in the state.

  2. Developed new subscriber/membership acquisition program for the Chicago Tribune that increased subscriptions for the program by 4% while decreasing the cost of program by 60%.

  3. Developed re-branding strategy including new corporate identity, new packaging and b to b and b to c advertising and marketing material and media support that drove sales of consumer product from 3 to 32 million in sales. The program’s success included national distribution in all major retailers and best product packaging award from Best Buy.

  4. Created and implemented strategy for new markets for the brand “The Five Love Languages”. Developed a new channel for product distribution and national press coverage by connecting New York Times Bestselling author Dr. Gary Chapman with the DOD/Pentagon. Successful in having the worldwide network of military chaplains in the Army and Air Force adapt Dr. Chapman’s books as training and counseling resources for the armed services and their families.

  5. Developed a new marketing strategy and brand positioning for two national retailers. One was a furniture store the other a book and music chain. Both retailers were in the red with multiple store closures before the campaign. Assisted client turn both chains around and make them profitable within one year. The parent company of both chains were able to successfully sell the chains for a profit rather than close the businesses.

  6. Re-branded and developed marketing strategy for repositioning regional print manufacturer. Result included 20% increase in revenue, development of new sales channel and multiple acquisition offers by financial investors.

  7. Developed over 50 individual company and product brand identities including graphics, name development, marketing plan development, marketing materials, packaging and website execution. Including development of supporting strategic multi media advertising campaigns in direct mail, print, e-blast, POP, interactive media and broadcast.

  8. Worked as a partner of branding, product development and marketing of 4 New York Times Bestsellers including:

    • The Left Behind Series by Tim Lahaye and Jerry Jenkins

    • The Five Love Languages by Gary Chapman

    • The Prayer of Jabez by Bruce Wilkenson

    • The Coming Economic Earthquake by Larry Burkett
